A Generous Gift

Concerned for Laura and Charlie's warmth, Momma D recently loaned Laura her fur coat to help her daughter and grandson-to-be survive the frigid midwestern winter. Having enjoyed the coat for several weeks now, the DN suspects that anyone else fortunate enough to have their own appreciates just how kind a gesture this was. For those who have not had the good fortune to wear a fur, however, loaning the fur was a big deal and we, especially Laura and Charlie, are very appreciative and even stunned by Momma D's kindness. Thank you Momma D, it means so much to all of us.

You may be asking why such a sappy entry starts with a picture of Matt wearing a woman's fur coat and, worse than that, the very coat that Momma D just so kindly loaned to Laura and Charlie. Mostly because there is nothing funnier to the DN than Matt Gulde wearing women's clothing. Since we do not have a picture of Matt in something orange and sparkly (that's a story for another day), this is the best we can do. Also, we promised Momma D we would post the picture because she thought Matt trying it on was very funny. The second picture is of Laura and Ellen modeling their respective furs during the Huntington family Christmas, and the third shows the DN modeling the fur at Tad and Ellen's house after Charlie's shower.

Matt does look pretty good in that coat. And what a fortunate gift you have, L-Dog! Happy New Year Donoghues!!

I am afraid that Matt looks better than me in that coat, and for that reason was reluctant to post the first picture.

He is pretty and he does look good in the coat. . . . But not as pretty as you dear.
