With the turkey all gone and the Thanksgiving decorations carefully put away, it is time to start thinking about Christmas. In the DN, we really begin focusing on Advent, but we do not have any Advent pictures. Laura kicked off Advent by hosting a table at the United Methodist Women Advent tea. The UMW women engaged in some competitive, non-competitive table decorating. Laura's table shined, decked out in our Christmas dishes and filled with her excellent baking. It was also a great opportunity to make connections with some very interesting women. As I mentioned, we do not have any Advent tea pics, so we are substituting this picture of Dave carrying our Christmas tree to the car.
