Charlie visited his Gramma D. at the Midland County courthouse last Friday, where he made lots of new friends among the ladies of the Friends of the Court! Sadly, Charlie's visit with Gramma was cut short by a phone call from the emergency room -- Daddy shattered his finger while on a run that morning. Fortunately, Daddy will probably be okay (more details to follow), but Charlie was disappointed to miss his buddy Miles's 4th birthday party.

I was going to try to make fun of Dave for breaking his "widdle pinkie," but the word "shattered" took the wind out of my sails.
