Gert The Wonder Dog

Over Christmas we took Gert to the dog park along with Fido and Momma D so that the dogs could play with Dexter, a pure bred Shiba Inu that lives across the street from Momma D. Zeke, Momma D's next door neighbor dog, also joined us. Everyone had a good time, except possibly Fido who had trouble pulling his cart through patches of deeper snow. Gert found her calling -- although she was a bit intimidated by the big open spaces and the other dogs, particularly an energetic yellow lab, she loved going up and down the ramp pictured above. Going down was a little scary, the picture of Gert going down shows DN friend and Momma D neighbor Maia coaxing her down. Despite her fear of the descent, however, Gert was a ramp natural. Maybe we have an agility dog on our hands...
