On November 5th, Tilly passed away. The details do not matter so much, except that she died instantly and at full sprint -- her favorite pace -- and that we loved her. God only blessed us with Tilly for a little less than a year, but she filled that year with lots of laughter, kisses and shenanigans. On the rare occasions that our home was silent during that year we immediately knew Tilly was up to something, usually something bad and often something involving Laura's purse and some chocolate, she loved chocolate almost as much as Laura maybe more since she was strictly forbidden from having it. More often though, our home was filled with the sounds of Tilly's nails scraping along our wood floors as she raced to greet Laura, chased a ball, harassed Fido or moved to the next window in her everlasting squirrel hunt. We miss Tilly's love, we miss her incessant squeaking at squirrels, chipmunks, leaves & shadows and we even miss her counter surfing.
We love you Tilly-Willy and we take great comfort in our belief that God has taken you to Heaven where you must have wide-open fields full of squirrels that you can actually catch. We miss you girl.
We will add pictures soon, but it has been hard to pick the right ones and has taken us awhile to be ready to write this entry.

Hello, Donoghues. Having just lost one of our beloved dogs, Purdy, I had to post a comment on your site. I'm sorry for your loss. As a friend of the Guldes, I like to check up on other friends of the Guldes to get the latest. I think the blogging stuff is real cool and builds a great community. Congratulations on your pregnancy. I hope all continues to go well. My stepdaughter is at Michigan so we have Go Blue in common, too. We're all looking forward to this weekend's big game. Go blue, go blue, go blue.
