As my trusty little helper and I were unloading the dishwasher yesterday, he suddenly exclaimed "hat! hat!" when he saw me remove the colander from the bottom rack. So I did what any caring mother would do, which is to allow my little boy to parade around the kitchen – and eat his supper – with a colander on his head. The colander also served as suitable headware for Wolvie (the dancing bear that sings Michigan fight songs), Lambie, Gertie, and mommy (not pictured).
