Charlie's Godparents

Charlie was baptized last Sunday -- what a Father's Day gift for Dave. We are working on a big post with lots of pictures, but as a preview Charlie's godparents, Matt and Sally Gulde, blogged about it here. Much more on Charlie's big day soon, but for now a big thank you to Matt and Sally. First, we will be eternally appreciative that you have taken on such an important role in Charlie's life. Charlie is blessed to have you (even Matt) as spiritual/religious role models, the honesty and forthrightness with which you have handled your religious path and struggle is a wonderful example and something we would be proud to have Charlie emulate. Second, we really appreciate that you were willing to drive over from Chicago to commemorate the role you are taking on and attend Charlie's baptism, despite the fact that Sally is 35 weeks pregnant -- 35 weeks!! -- and about to add a little boy to your family. We love you guys. Thank you.
