The other big activity for Labor Day was the Franklin Labor Day Parade, or as Laura called it the "Golden Retriever Parade." We actually missed the parade, it was very short, very well attended and we are still working out how long pregnancy adds to any excursion. But we did get to visit the Golden Retriever Rescue of Michigan's booth after their dogs finished marching in the parade. This is a shot of Laura with Chloe (who is up for adoption soon). Oh, no! As you can imagine, Laura was just about in heaven. If she had her way the human members of the Donoghue Nation would quickly be outnumbered by those of the canine variety.
