This is a shot of the family (except Laura who was, of course, taking the picture, watching the Cubs beat the Cards on Sunday Night Baseball. That may not seem like a big deal. But this year the Cubs beating anyone, especially the division-leading Cards, is pretty special and getting both dogs to lay quietly near each other is a rare feat as well. Oh, and I believe this is my first appearance in the blog. You have met the dogs ad naseum and Laura, the "back bone" of the DN, but since I have been taking all of the pictures, I have not appeared until now -- another result of Laura joining us permanently again. So with Laura here, you should start getting more pics including the "Soft Underbelly" of the DN. You're welcome Dan.
