A few weekends ago, our street had its fabled annual block party. Dave was out of town running the ridiculously extreme terrain of the Dances with Dirt race in Hell, Michigan (but more on that later). Charlie and I stayed home, and the Breits joined us to party on our block -- with a huge inflatable moonwalk and cupcake decorating for the little ones, and a keg for the non-pregnant grown ups.
