Charlie and I went to McDonald's the other day with Erik and Miles and it was AWESOME. I can now totally appreciate why tired moms take their kids to McD's --- it's cheap, it's distracting, and it works. Charlie can't even crawl around in the stupefyingly fun PlayPlace yet, but he loved it just the same. So many bright colors to see and kids to watch -- he was enthralled. Which meant that Mommy got to have an actual adult conversation with her friend... hooray!(No, I didn't really feed my infant a Happy Meal. Charlie was just checking out Miles' lunch.)
